Adding wall moldings, trim and wallpaper can significantly elevate the appearance and character of a home, transforming plain spaces into sophisticated and refined areas. Here's how and why these architectural elements make such an impact:
Visual Enhancement
Wall moldings and trim introduce architectural elegance to even the simplest spaces. They add depth, texture, and visual interest to walls, creating a more dynamic and layered look. For example, adding picture moulding to a long hallway can really elevate its appearance to the next level, going from a basic box to a highly attractive space.
Increased Property Value
Investing in high-quality wall moldings and trim can boost a home's resale value. Potential buyers often appreciate the craftsmanship and attention to detail that these architectural elements represent, viewing them as desirable features that add value to the property. They can help set your home apart from others on the market, simply by refreshing the space.
Customization and Personalization
Wall moldings and trim allow you to express your individual style. Whether preferring classic, contemporary, abstract or eclectic designs, custom molding can be tailored to suit specific tastes and preferences. This customization helps create a unique and personalized living space that reflects your unique aesthetic.
Practical Benefits
Beyond aesthetics, moldings serve practical purposes. They can hide imperfections or transitions between walls and ceilings, creating a more polished look. By incorporating these architectural details, you can transform basic rooms into refined, sophisticated spaces that exude character and charm. The impact of wall moldings and trim extends beyond mere decoration, enhancing the overall ambiance and perceived value of a home.

Immediately after installation, you only need to wipe down the surfaces with a clean, soft cloth to remove any dust that may have settled. For long-term care, I recommend the following:
Regular dusting: Use a microfiber or soft cloth to dust your trimwork regularly.
Avoid harsh cleaners: Stick to mild, non-abrasive cleaners or simply water with a gentle soap for occasional cleaning. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive scrubbers that could damage the finish.
Prevent moisture buildup: Be mindful of areas with high humidity, such as bathrooms. Make sure the area is well-ventilated to avoid warping or swelling over time.
Our painting services are only offered as the finishing touch for your accent wall installation.
Currently we offer installations that go beyond your standard home builder services (baseboard, crown molding, window trim, etc.). We do not currently install these as standalone items.
We aim to enhance and work within your existing trim work, to create a unique, customized and cohesive look.
